Boots the High Street giant have been running a mobile phone recycling initiative for a while now since 2008 and our in partnership with Redeem plc a mobile phone recycler with over 10 years experience. They work together to tackle the problem of mobile phone recycling and the effect mobile phones have on our environment.

You can sell and recycle any mobile phone to Boots for Advantage Card Points. If you are already a Boots customer and shop at Boots and already have a Boots Advantage card as over 17 million people already do then you may find this a more useful than selling and recycling a mobile phone for cash from a recycler that offers cash as payment instead. Boots Recycler display they offer 5,000 Advantage Card Points for mobile phones but actually offer a lot more for the more expensive mobile phone makes and models.

Boots pay out 20,000 Advantage Card Points for the Nokia N97. When you compare that to the cash value vs what you could get for it in cash to the Advantage Card Points it could work out better for you depending on what you purchase at Boots.

Boots have announced they have given out almost 50 million Advantage Card Points to Boots customers through their successful Boots Mobile Phone Recycling initiative.

As well as getting Advantage Card Points you can also get 100 Advantage Card Points for old inkjet cartridges. You can sell and recycle many types of inkjet cartridges for Advantage Card Points. And 50 Advantage Card Points for any mobile phones not listed on the site.

As well as these incentives users are also automatically entered into a free prize draw to win an extra 5000 Advantage Card points. Entered into a free bonus prize draw to win luxury weekend spa breaks away. And £1 for every old mobile phone is donated to Charities by Gift Aid.

The process is simple. You register on the Boots site and enter what make and model of mobile phone you are selling and you will be displayed a value in Advantage Card Points for that make and model. You can enter many mobile phones and add them all to a basket along with any inkjet cartridges if you have any of them also.

You can request a Freepost Envelope or print off a Freepost Postage Label to send your mobile phones into Boots to be recycled for Boots Advantage Card Points. Within 30 days you will be able to spend your Advantage Card Points in any Boots store once you have loaded your Advantage Card into one of the Extra Offers Kiosk's in one of the larger Boots stores. Although more have them now. And are just little things on the wall or a pillar.
