Ensure the battery is fully charged and you remove the SIM card and any memory cards.
Always send expensive mobile phones using Special Recorded Deliver so it's insured.

I must say i'm pretty new to the mobile phone exchange and trading schemes that seem to be taking off around the world. However i've done a bit of research into them after watching a tv advert and it really seems like a great idea to de-clutter households, help the environment and of course help your own cash-flow.
