Searching for new Google Android Applications Vodafone UK have announced a contest and are offering a grand prize of £1,000 in cash. Plus free HTC Magic phones to 10 runners up.
You don't have to be an Android Developer to enter the Vodafone competition as they are only asking that you share "your idea for a mobile application to run on the amazing Google Android platform". Google gave out free Android based HTC Magic G2 Phones to attendees of Google’s I/O developer conference. It's been said that the Android Phone even comes with a SIM card with 30 days of talk time and 3G Internet access.
